July 13, 2025Q.Garrya Eliptica Growing Catkins In July.
its my understanding the catkins should be from Mid Winter to March time? I assume its a Garrya as an Aspen will sport catkins during the summer?

Certified ExpertA.My information says the bracts stay on the plant through summer. Aspens do produce catkins but your plant looks like a Garrya. Here is more:
