If you want to take a stab at growing Sago Palms, here's your chance. Yours for the asking
Unfortunately, we do not allow seed trades, here. I would try your local farmers' markets, or other local gatherings.
I moved to a different spot in my yard and I don't know if it is shocked or dead?
Did it have fronds before it was moved? Sago palms don't like being moved. Here are tips below to tell if a tree is dying. Lack of leaves is one. If it was recently purchased, I suggest contacting the seller.

In your article on cold tolerant indoors plants, wish you had mentioned TWO things-first these are plants that are COOL tolerant--not COLD--and secondly, the sago palm is highly toxic and can hurt/kill children, dogs, and cats....
Yes, the Sago is toxic to pets, and I will pass this along to our editors.
As for cool versus cold- Unfortunately, that may be a relative term! Somebody in the tropics may consider 30F cold, where as some in northern areas will consider 30 to be very mild. I will be best to refer to the exact temperature which will be labeled along side of the reference.
We have a mature sago palm tree that has an "arm". Can it be sawed off without killing the main trunk?
It looks like it needs to get a bit healthier before attempting any pruning, however, it is not recommended to remove multiple heads. They can't heal over. These articles should help with its needs:

I am unsure of what my Sago has grown in the center this year. I have never seen this!
These are female flowers! A male sago would have a more elongated spire. This will happen every three years or so, given the proper circumstances.
I'm in zone8a at the moment. Just wondering what I should do about these yellow leaves on my Sago? It's in a pot in the ground.
This has two likely causes. I do notice wet soil, there. Both plants that I see are very drought resistant and will appreciate dry conditions.
The other possibility is that it has a potassium deficiency. I don't see that indication with your snake plants, though. Test for nutrient deficiencies and provide perfect conditions for it, and any new growth will start to come out green again. Just don't expect the old fronds to recover.

My Sego palm (indoor plant) periodically sprouts a long stem from the base. I assume it's a new frond, but it never develops. It just turns brown, and then I trim it off. What am I doing wrong?
Since it is so stretched, it could be a low light issue. Are you feeding it monthly? That could be an issue, too. Also be sure the soil is well draining and you are letting it dry between waterings. These cultural tips should help:
