these rhubarb plants were planted here 3 years ago
Yellowing and wilting of the leaves could simply be lack of water at crucial times - the broad leaves need copious amounts of moisture in summer. Or it could be a fungal disease. Check the crown of the plant at the base of the leaves close to soil level for white fungal growth or rot

I have purchased 9 rhubarb plants over the past 3 years. I planted them in various locations of my yard using compost. I also potted two and put them indoors. ALL of them died. I really want to grow rhubarb, do you have any suggestions? What went wrong!

This rhubarb isn't doing very well. Can you give me any advice on when I can move it?
It looks like either phosphorus or iron deficiencies. It may need fertilizer. The limited research on the climate in your country would suggest that you could move it at just about any time.

But she cut them off quite high from the root. Now, I’ll water them to get them to grow and fill it but what happens to those stalks that are cut too high? Do they shrivel up and die or what? I’ll not let her do this again as she burned her bridges! I’ve another neighbour who comes in taking what she wants but she pulls them like I do which was how my mom and grandma showed me. I’m in a bit of a dilemma over this as I thought that I was doing her a favour. Regards, Lorna Klotz
It won't hurt the plant in any way. In all honesty, she gave herself the short stick in this deal. She left most of the edible portion on the plant still, taking only the poisonous part!
The stalks left will shrivel on their own, but you can cut them off if you need. to. I wouldn't do anymore pulling from the plants this year, though. Especially being in Canada, since for us here in the US... We have to stop picking in July or so in order for the plant to store enough energy to survive the winter.

Where can I purchase Holstein's Bloodred rhubarb? It is listed on your sight but I have been looking for a seller for a month. Can you help me?
We do not sell plants, or recommend specific vendors.
I would recommend looking locally, or online vendors through Amazon, Etsy, or Ebay. There may be vendors there that offer what you are looking for.
You have interesting gardening articles but do not list sources. This does not help.
We do not recommend sources for purchase. We only provide gardening information pertaining growing and maintaining plants.
I would recommend local sources, or searching google for sources that have what you are looking for in stock.
