Can I grow an Angel-wing Begonia plant from a cutting? This are indoor plants.
Absolutely! These cuttings root very rapidly. About a decade ago, when I used to work for a larger nursery, I would go by and haphazardly collect 500 to 1000 cuttings per day, and almost every single one would root. These is a very easy plant to take cuttings from. This article will give you more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/begonia/begonia-propagation.htm
I want to know if I could propagate thorn trees?
Which type of thorn tree would you like to know about, specifically? I will be glad to help further.
There are a lot of thorn type trees in my neighborhood. And I'm not sure what they are... What type of thorn trees don't do well with propagation?
My potted plant fell and broke in half. I have attached it using tape. Do you think it can grow back, or should I put the upper half in soil and see if it will grow? I don't know which plant it is.
Can you include a photo? Some plants can propagate this way, but others can't, so it is important to know what plant it is. I will be glad to help if you can provide a photo.
Can Air layering be done on stone fruit, or nut trees? Is there risk of causing disease or rotting challenges with air layering technique? My assumption is that it is best done before spring, and buds start to swell? Thanks in advance. Great site BTW - I will share it on social media. Brian.
This can be done with relative ease. Just make sure that everything that you use is sterile, and you will have no problem. Peroxide will come in handy, as will aloe juice if you have it. It makes for a good rooting hormone.
Does the softwood or hardwood cutting need to be immediately dipped into the rooting hormone or growing medium or can there be a time lapse?
Generally, you will want to dip them as soon as possible for the best results, although, some hardweood cuttings do like to sit out for a bit. It will not hurt to dip them, either way.
Every article that I read to do with using Cider Vinegar as rooting hormone has directions for rooting in soil. But what if I am rooting in water? Can I leave cuttings in ac vinegar? Or only dip it to put in soil? They never say a word about rooting in water or if vinegar will damage cuttings if you leave it in there for a week or 6.
Do not use the vinegar rooting hormone to root in water.

Which veg seeds can you soak prior to planting?
Almost all, with the exception of brassicas, or lettuce like plants. They will not need soaking, and they require light directly on the seed to germinate.
I, actually, recommend placing the seeds in a slightly moist paper towel, and in a ziploc bag. Place this in a dark drawer and check once or twice per day, until you see roots. Then you can plant. This will make germination much faster.
