We bought a house last spring with an amazing garden! I have 2 maple trees that now have yellow berry clusters, or seed clusters from fall and now in winter. I want to know which variety of maple these trees are and more about the berry clusters. Thanks in advance! Darci in Wenatchee, WA
Here are pictures I took today, sorry no leaves but they looked like common maple leaves spring and summer.
I wonder if you have a hawthorn tree. Hawthorn leaves are smaller than maple but there are similarities in shape. There are no true maple trees that produce berries. Maple seeds are produced in spring and are called samara. Can you put up a new post with a picture? There are several shrubs that have "maple-like" leaves. One is mapleleaf viburnum. It has bright red berries in fall that may darken as winter progresses. It may have been trained to have a central trunk instead of its usual multi-stem base. I truly hope you can post a picture: I'm curious!
The tree is intertwined with an evergreen tree, but trying to identify what the deciduous tree is and if it's native to Southern CA. There are some long oblong leaves starting to grow in. Thank you!
I'm sorry but we are not able to identify from this image.
Closeups of the leaves would help.
You can also check with your County Extension Office.

I'd like to know what this is so I can care for it accordingly. Thank you.
I am unable to identify this. Does it bear fruit or flowers? If you take it to your local extension service they will be able to identify this. Here is a link to help you find the nearest one to you: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/extension-search/
On a recent trip to Samoa in the South Pacific I came across this plant & would love to know what it is so I can source it.
How do I identify the particular tree that has died and needs replacing? There are a couple of several that succumbed to drought and disease. I need to remove them and replace with same tree to match the others. How do I remove so that new tree can be positioned in the same spot? Stump/root grinding will be difficult due to access issues.
Identification: Send us photos of the existing trees that you want to match. Close up of foliage and stems, flowers or fruit if any, and photo of entire tree showing forma nd growth habit.
Stump removal: With no access for a stump grinder, then its pick and shovel and digging bar, and hard work to grub it out.
Drought stress as a cause of mortality is one thing, but if a tree dies from a disease, its best to identify the disease and determine if the replacment tree will be susceptible to the same fate.
I did not know the name of this plant.
Grown for about 10 years removed it just don’t know what kind of plant and how to get it off
This looks like a lichen growing on your siding.
This is likely growing in a shady or north location.
I would contact the manufacturer to see how best to clean the siding.
