I cannot, clearly, see the flower structure, so I couldn't tell you exactly what that tree is. My best guess would either be a type of apple or plum, whether ornamental or edible.

I'm not certain as to the climate of your country, but this is usually the cause. Fruit trees, whether bearing or non require very distinct seasons. If the area in which you reside has an unpredictable climate, or changes from warm to cold within weeks or days, then this is the cause. The stress that this causes will shorten the life of a tree, but there is no fix for this. The answer will be to choose a tree for the climate when planting.

Pop ups like you describe are almost universal when I browse internet sites. There is no fee to join; it is simply a request to "stay in touch". Websites depend on advertising dollars to pay staff. Advertising income goes up with increased visits to the website which emails hope to bring. While the service is offered for free, there still are bills to pay. I am not an employee of this website, just an experienced gardener who finds the information useful and who shares gardening wisdom with others who write in with questions. If you don't want to give your email, simply click the X in the upper right corner of the pop-up. You still have access to the website.

This really depends which climbing plants you plan to plant. Many of them can be planted as the ground warms up to above freezing. You can either amend the ground to be suitable, or go for containers. Either way will be fine.

This article will help you to amend clay soil: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/how-to-improve-clay-soil.htm
