From my reading, it sounds as though these are yellow "leuco.... I did not get the full name. While I read that they are poisonous, they are in my precious basil and parsley pots. Are the herbs poisonous?
No, it doesn't poison the herbs. Most mushrooms that crop up in plants are just from the rotting compost. You can find fungal plant ID websites to help you out.
I have never seen this before. Is it dangerous. Photo below.
This is one of the many species of Mutinus mushrooms. Although they aren't dangerous they are also, definitely, not edible. A very strange find, indeed!
I am interested in growing mushrooms. How long will the mushroom plugs produce after you harvest the mushrooms that are ready to eat. Can they be grown in a greenhouse or can the oak logs with the plugs be kept outside and kept moist. in a shady spot?
It depends on the type of mushrooms. Some mushroom species can be grown outdoors on logs, while others grow better indoors- in a greenhouse you will need to cover them with something to avoid excessive light, or you can grow them in a dark area like a basement. According to growers, three or four "crops" of mushrooms can be harvested from each plug as long as it has enough organic material to grow on.

So, I've always loves the aesthetic of mushrooms, and I kind of want to grow them indoors the same way you would with houseplants. Not to eat, but only give my room an aesthetic. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet about this, and was wondering if it is even possible. Thank you!
A home environment doesn't really meet the criteria for growing mushrooms and fungi.
