Why are mulberry trees dropping premature fruits?
Many fruit trees drop both immature and almost mature fruit for several reasons. Sometimes, it is because there are too many fruit for the tree to grow to maturity. The following article is geared toward figs, but the information would be the same for mulberries or most any other fruit: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/fig-drop.htm
How do you discontinue growth off of a cut mulberry branch?
Not really sure how to answer. As long as the tree is alive, it will try to send out new growth.
I have two fruitless mulberry trees that I planted at the same time about 30 feet apart. The one tree is beautiful and dark green with new growth at the top, the other tree is getting more lime green each day, so I fertilized them and the unhealthy tree's leaves are now curling. I don't know what to do now!
Are they getting the same amount of moisture?
I would have the soil at each tree tested. Contact you local agricultural extension office for information on how and where to take the samples.

I piped my washing machine waste water over to two 1/2 barrels placed with open end down and buried on either side about 4 feet away from the trunk. I live in the high desert of California and the tree is showing pale green, small leaves. The tree almost died 10 years ago when they moved my septic system away from it. How can I get the tree to look healthy like the other mulberry that has the new septic system next to it?

Need room to place surrounding deck posts. Or, how big a circle must be provided for the tree if placing a concrete patio around it?
Mulberry trees have large root systems that are known for heaving concrete. If putting a concrete patio, I’d leave an 8-10' diameter circle.
My 25 year old Fruitless Mulberry trees have got huge knuckles from getting pruned (shaped) or cut back every other year. I'm afraid the'ye getting too heavy for the trunk. Should the knuckles be cut off when it's trimmed?
Prune all but the straightest of the small branches emerging from the knuckles, leaving about 4 inches above the knuckles themselves. These straight branches should line up with the largest part of the branch below the knuckle. As they gradually thicken and grow, the knobby joints will become less noticeable.
