I have a deeply inclined, rocky, no soil area in my yard.. Landscapers have issues with accessing the area for excavation, so I am looking for moss or creeping plants to cover this,to make it more palatable to look at.. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

I need some help. I purchased this Moss Terrarium some time back and right now after several months, I am unsure of the problem, whether it needs water or not. The colour of the plants seem to be growing pale (as if no water) but another part of the plant seem to have blackish discolouration, indicating that it has mould and has too much water. When I tilt the terrarium a little, at times I can see water flooding at the sides. I have opened the terrarium for an hour or so at a time to allow the water to evaporate into the atmosphere. However, as stated above, it seems that it has need for water but I cannot tell anymore. please help. Attached is a picture from the top on how they look like. Marshall Yoong John Yen
Not every plant will need the same amount of water.

tilisers should I use and when. Thank you.
I would recommend applying this after breaking ground. Moss can be very difficult to maintain, so anything that is done to disturb it will usually kill it anyway. Adding a moss killer after will ensure that the rest of it is completely killed off.
It is also important to increase light to the area. This will be the best way to keep moss away.
As far as a fertilizer... Any lawn fertilizer will make the soil quite toxic for moss. Just be very sparing with fertilizer for young lawns. This can be a bit much for seed trying to establish.

what is the difference between peat and sphagum peat? And which is better? thank you
Sphagnum is a long grain moss. This is the only real difference. This article will explain in more detail: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/peat-moss-information.htm
My back grass is mostly moss; is it too early to treat it?
Since we are based in the US I'm not quite familiar with how your weather will act at this time of year. If it is within a month or two of when your lawn would normally make an attempt at growing, then now would be the perfect time to do so!
I am using it in a pot to hide the inner pot. Should I take inner pot out to water plant or can the moss itself get wet. There would be no drainage for the peat moss.
It will not hurt it to get wet. Over time there will be some algae growth on it eventually. You can leave it or replace it then. This will not harm anything. I do recommend drainage always. But as long as you are careful not to over water, then it can be fine.
What causes thick clumps of moss to form on the soil in my flower beds? Should I leave them or remove them?
