I have a bed a pachysandra which this year has been invaded by liriope. How can I get rid of it? I painted on Round Up, but that doesn’t really work. Painting it on hundreds of skinny stalks is a pain! Thanks
This article may have a few options for you.

t short and neat using just a lawn mower It is a very long hard slog using pruning shears to level the lariope to 3 inches high!
Although it makes a very jagged cut, and puts it a little more prone to infection, this is still a common way to cut it. Just to mow it. I have done this before, but I do not like to make a habit of it, since it does increase the risk of losing clumps pretty drastically. but it is a very common way of doing it, as expressed here: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/groundcover/monkey-grass/pruning-monkey-grass.htm
I have one of these and it does so good in the sun that I would like to get more but when i go to look for one at a gardening center no one knows what i talking abt.
This is variegated leaf liriope, sometimes called monkey grass.

I am a new gardener, and I am not sure if this perennial (I don’t even know what it is) is invasive
That is Liriope or lilyturf. Lioriope muscari is not invasive but its cousin, Liriope spicata spreads rapidly. I think you have L. muscari but check images of both and decide for yourself. They can be tricky to tell apart.
Monkey Grass (liriope) sends out runners underground, so digging it up works better. I'd be worried the chemical would travel thru the runners to the main plant and kill it, too.

I have a sloped area in my yard that is subject to erosion, and I've planted Blue Liriope to remedy the situation. Additionally, I've planted five Crape Myrtles to serve as a screen between my and my neighbor's house. Consequently, the birds, while roosting in the Crape Myrtles, deposit the seed of many weeds in the Blue Liriope. HELP!
This is a question for your local garden center as we don't make product name recommendations. There are products, however, that will prevent weed germination in garden beds but the existing weeds must be removed first.
Pre-emergent herbicides are generally prescribed for lawns: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/weeds/pre-emergent-herbicides.htm
Could you please tell what this plant is? It is about nine inches in height and looks like a good border plant.
My colleagues are suggesting that this is either liriope or sweet flag grass. Here are articles on both:
