My lilies are practically eaten by these bugs. Do I have to dig up the bulbs and throw them away to end this?
No, you can use many different natural plant oils to get rid of these. Unfortunately, in my area, these were released and have now driven true ladybugs away. The Asian ladybeetle will eat bugs, but they also dine on plants, and that is the problem.

Almost all lilies will have very similar care, often requiring a chill period in the winter. This article will help you with the care of lilies in container: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/lily/planting-lilies-in-containers.htm
You can, pretty much, grow anything in greenhouse, as long as you know the temperature range in there, year round, and have a way to control it. This will be completely up to you.
My lillies have developed a horrible green slime, which is on both leaves and stems. Lillies grown in pot. I have noticed green blobs, in clusters on the leaves. This fungus is wet. I can see little bugs which are red in colour and bigger than a ladybird. Please advise on how to treat and destroy the foliage ? Look forward to receiving your response shortly. Julie Moore
It is usually best to burn the infected foliage to avoid further contamination. You will also want to treat the soil and plant. This can be done, simply, with cinnamon! This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/info/using-cinnamon-on-plants.htm
Have grown them for years have found how to grow from seed cuttings over the years have crossed breeding different colours from cape daisy's found that you have to use b 9 to dwarf them as they get to big before flowering. Have crossed bred arum Lilies, green ,blushing pink, and white but they don't come true. Every time have got at the moment 700 in pot from 1. 2 3 5 8 ltd pots. I found that pink grow the biggest. Green can be big. You end up putting into larger pots green are the first to flower white and pink later have photos of all from seedlings to full pots flowering.
That's wonderful! Thank you for sharing your experiences and images!
It is some type of lily the flower look like a angle trump
This is actually an Allium plant. The variety is unknown. Beautiful though!
I’ve bought some lillies a few years ago, I bought pink yellow and orange but the past few years I’ve had a fantastic show of burgundy colour lillies. Will they stay this colour now as I’ve never seen any like this colour before
Wow, that is an impressive show of color! What has happened here is very interesting, and not common but not quite rare either.
What happened in this case is that the originals were an unstable variety, so this led them to revert back to a lineage further back in the line. There will be nothing that you can do to bring them back to their original color, unfortunately. This is a stunning look for them, though.
Thank you so much for your reply but I’ve also been asked what are the names of these lillies
Can you please tell me the name of these lillies
Oriental Lily.
