    I would grow them indoors. They won't tolerate our Tennessee winters at all. In fact, It would surprise me if they are still in good shape at this time! It is colder than they like it, right now.

    This plant is so easy to grow, indoors, though, that it will be happy in a small container until you can divide it out into larger pots each year. Keeping a small section of grass to put indoors each winter will ensure that you have something to plant each summer. This can be done for all grasses, and is what I must do for my sugar cane each year.
