Q. Jelly Palm

Will a Jelly palm tree survive the winter outside in Delaware, zip 19939, 7 miles from the ocean?

Jelly palms cannot tolerate temperatures that drop below 10F. If it gets colder than 10F where you live, this plant will not be able to survive outdoors.

My Pindo Palm suffered severe wind damage and all forms died . Is there anything I can do to revive it?

You may want to have a qualified Palm Arborist exam the palm for you.

Q. Jelly palm

I have a jelly palm that is brown in the middle where the growth starts but is green on the mature fronts. Just wondering if it’s dead or not.
