I am doing a research about the effects spent coffee grounds for plant growth of Ipomea Aquatica (Water spinach)for partial fulfillment/academic requirement of our research subject. Can you give me some tips how to yield a good results. My plan is to use SCG as a solution or concentration to water the Water Spinach (Kangkong). I will be planting it on a plant. Thank You I hope you will answer my queries.
This is not going to be a set amount. It will fluctuate based on the temperature and humidity of the environment. Generally, plants that like to remain moist will require the soil to dry out, ONLY, within the first half inch.
The point of spent coffee grounds will be to loosen up the soil. They will be void of nutrients until they are broken down by microbes. These plants are invasive, so adding much extra nutrients won't be necessary. However, used coffee grounds will provide grit and looseness to the soil.

Hello and Happy New Year 2022!!! I have been looking for seeds or small plants of Yuca Vine (Merremia aurea - yellow ipomoea etc.) for two years. Merremia aurea is a beautiful plant but here in Europe I can't find seeds or plants !! Can you indicate to me a producer or a gardening lover who has seeds available to buy ?? Thank you in advance! Cheers Giacomo
Unfortunately, we do not recommend places for purchase. I could say that you may have luck looking at online resources like Amazon, Etsy, or Ebay, though.
What I can do is provide information on the plant:
many times. Afraid it is invasive. Chinese yam vine leaf is similar but not it.
This will be difficult. It is within the genus, Ipomoea. That will be as close as I can get you. This is a very broad genus.
Here are the search results on our search page:
