I live in SW Florida and need to "fertilize weakly, weekly" as they say...what is the best fertilizer to use ?

Each leaf is half purple and half green with the exception of new growth. How do I help it?
Although it can be hard to tell without seeing the issue, there are a few things to cause this.
If this is an irregular pattern, and not a clean line established between colors, then you may be looking at a phosphorus deficiency, or a soil that may be a little too acidic. You can amend with dolomitic lime, and some phosphorus and potassium heavy nutrients.
If this is a clean line of separation, and it is happening somewhat predictably, then you may have a chimera! This is a case, simply put, where two different organism fuse, and become one individual with portions of genetics and traits from each contributed individual.
Should this be the case, then there is nothing to be done.
Here is an article that will help you to grow these plants: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/how-to-care-for-hibiscus-plants.htm
I was wondering if a hardy hibiscus can be cut back and regrow to re bloom in the same season or if it’s finished for this season it’s only June but it was beautiful while it was blooming
It will, probably, not bloom again while it is hot. It may bloom again once it cools down, but not while it is hot like this.
Cutting now is not advised. You should prune these in the spring right as the new growth comes out for the year, or vigorous growth starts if you are in a climate where it is too warm to enter dormancy.
This article will give you more information on their care: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/how-to-care-for-hibiscus-plants.htm
Tried to send picture, but it wouldn't attach..it has all new leaves sprouting, prior to repotting, but now has no bulb. Does it need a bulb to grow further, which fell out of pot and broke in half. Please advise, thx Trudy
Although these don't grow from a bulb, I believe that I understand what you are saying. The root ball fell off.
Usually, you will get better results planting the root ball than you will the top, although you do lose the braid. Most of the time, this portion of the plant is too large to set good roots, and will die off. The root ball, however, will resprout.
This article will help you to reform a new tree from the root mass: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/braided-hibiscus-trees.htm
New plant - 3 weeks; in good shape with several blooms formed; have kept watered well; transplanted only to slightly larger container upon getting it home.
The hibiscus flower only lasts a day, although many new hybrids have been bred which now last longer, even up to three days.
