Hello! My green beans from my garden are splitting apart when cooked. They are a mix of Kentucky wonder, blue lake and Kentucky blue. I am not doing anything differently than last year aside from planting them where they get more sun. Im in laguna niguel, xalifornia. The beans look the same, harvesting them at 5-7 inches. Taste is a bit off as well. I am growing them in 5 gallon pots. Did i over-fertilize? Too much sun? Not enough water? Bad seeds? Any thoughts?
Thanks! But i have never done so before. Just boil em, toss some seasoned salt on em and eat. Perhaps our oddly humid weather for the past 10 days? In any event, beans get removed on monday and ill replant 6 varieties, labeled, kept separate. Bean research time!
From my research it shows that you should soak the beans prior to cooking to prevent splitting.

I am not able to figure out what this weird brown growth is on my green bean plants. They have flowers and beans but the bottom of it is getting stocky with this brown fuzzy growth all over it. Not sure what it is or what I need to do.
There are several diseases that can cause this, including rust and several types of bacterial blight. Visual identification is best. See if the appearance and symptoms match any of the diseases in this article:

What is killing my green beans? They suddenly start to wilt and then die.
This appears to be a bad fungal issue in the soil. There are a few things you can do.
I prefer applying dolomitic lime and wettable sulfur to the soil. This will kill the infection, and bring back the pH to a more suitable level.

A large portion of my fall green beans have no seeds in the pods and the pods are hollow. I see no holes or colorization that would indicate insects or disease. When I took a bite of one of the hollow beans it was very tough in texture. What could be causing this issue?
Insufficient watering as they were growing, or too many beans left to go to seed.
Leaves are turning brown and falling off plant. Do we lack something in the soil?
Can you include a photo? This is more likely an infection rather than a deficiency. This is not common with beans. I would apply wettable sulfur and dolomitic lime to the soil as, both, a spot treatment and as a preventative.
Again, a photo will help me to confirm this. Then I can give you the best advice on how to deal with the issue at hand.
I accidentally sprayed my beans while spraying tomato Will by beans be ?
I have climbing green beans that were suppose to climb 7 feet. They are now approaching 8 feet or above my trellis. Should I clip them to promote fruit growth or let them go. Thanks
I would let them continue growing, wind them back into the trellis is needed.
