No one I have asked is familiar with the flower my Ginger plant has every August. It likes wet ground; it blossoms in the shade , and has stalk type blossom that is alternate yellow, purple, and mauve. The lady we bought this house from referred to it as Wild Ginger. We live in SE Louisiana, 60 miles NW of Baton Rouge.
Here's an article from the US Forest Service that might help: https://www.fs.fed.us/wildflowers/plant-of-the-week/asarum_canadense.shtml It contains an image - a bit hard to see clearly, but it looks like the flower grows close to the ground.
Here's our article about wild ginger: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/ornamental-ginger/growing-wild-ginger.htm
I’ve pulled out all our wild ginger and had it in tarp or bags for months but is still hard
I can't tell if you are trying to store them, or start them growing. Either way, this will not be a good method for either. I would advise storing them in sand, or in a dark, cool area with desiccants. These articles will help:

If you are growing them, I would follow the instructions in this article:

Thanks. I’m trying to kill it! It’s terrible stuff?
Those are not the culinary gingers but are called spiral gingers. Often, yellowing leaves indicates over or under watering. I suspect overwatering. Let the plant dry out a bit between waterings.

I have several 9 month ginger plants that I started from grocery store ginger. I am in US zone 9a. I dug up a plant today to see how much rhizome was there. Don't know how to proceed? Can I let it stay in the ground and just dig up plants as I want to use fresh ginger?
I would let it grow for several years before harvesting. You can harvest earlier, but the longer you wait, the bigger the ginger root mass!
Typically, it is safe to harvest after a year, though. This will give you enough to use and enough to plant.

I'm new to gardening.
Yes, but not deep shade. These articles will help:

I’m sending you a couple of pictures of my Red Ginger to see if you might have any suggestions about what could be the problem. The leaves are yellowing all around the edges. I’m not sure if it’s not getting enough water, too much water, possibly a pest problem or if it needs a special fertilizer. I figure since Hawaii nurseries sell this type of plant you might have come across this issue with the gingers you sell. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you and Happy Holidays! Donna Test Wellington, Florida
I believe that I can help you with your issue, but I must clarify that we do NOT sell plants. We only offer information on them.
This does appear to be an issue with soil saturation. Judging by the portion of fence touching the soil, this soil appears to stay saturated for long periods of time.
If you can keep this from happening, this would be ideal. If you cannot, then you may consider moving the plant. Otherwise, you can try wettable sulfur to kill off the infection.

May I request that you add a drawing or photo to your description? https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/ginger/growing-ginger-in-water.htm. I can’t easily envision what it’s supposed to look like once the rhizomes are grown and ready to be placed in the water as well as what it’s supposed to look like in what size container. Thank you from Israel!
