I have an 8-year-old Gala and Fuji. Both of them are losing the bark on their trunk and branches. There is a black sooty residue on the Gala and some green moss growing on both. I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Sounds like one of the two possibilities is likely. These articles should help determine which:

Our Gala apple has some fire blight. It is time to put dormant spray on the rest of our 20 trees. I have read that Copper is a good treatment for this. Which one should I spray on first and how long between to put on the second? Thanks.
This article should help you with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/disease/fire-blight-remedies-and-symptoms.htm
Did not know when or with what (preferably organic) I could spray on my apple trees to prevent pest problems this spring. My first year to have apples on my trees and I am losing most of them to insects eating holes in them (as well as birds) or stinging them making them start to rot. Do not see any bugs on them. What can I spray on them while they are dormant and when should this be done? Have a Gala, Honeycrisp and Pixie Crunch.
These articles and links will help you with a schedule of treatment against pests and disease.

Hello I read your article about burrknots and gall, and I definitely have this exact problem with my gala apple tree. Please tell me where I can buy some GALLEX so I can treat my gala apple tree. I'm in the United States, and hope you are? Thank you so much...
Yes, we're based in the US. However, we don't recommend retailers or retail products, so my suggestion is that you either contact a local garden center, or go online. Here's an article about how to thin that incredibly abundant apple crop I hope you'll be harvesting: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/apples/how-to-thin-apple-trees.htm
Hello Last year I started a gala Apple tree from seed. It is now about 2 feet tall. This spring the leaves sprouted very well. But now most have turned brown and are falling off. What should I do?
Is your seedling inside? If so, I would take it outside and gradually introduce it to full sun. It likely is being overwatered.
