My fox tail palm is doing very well with one exception. There are a couple of friends near the bottom that continue to point straight up, rather than taking on that nice gentle curve downward. It makes the one side if the tree look asymmetrical. Should I do anything or will it eventually cascade like the rest of the lower fronds?

This is no cause for concern. They will eventually take on the typical shape. Here is an article for more information on these palms: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/foxtail-palm/foxtail-palm-tree.htm
During the cold weather in Tampa in January we got some very cold days my Foxtail Palm which was planted about 9 months ago all the fronds turned brown and the one shoot that had come up also turned brown will the tree come back? Also when the nursery planted it the roots were exposed is this a problem because of the cold.
Yes, this could be fatal. Be patient. Prune the dead growth after it warms up a bit. There is not much you can do to help it out, but time will tell you if it is still alive.

My Mature and healthy looking foxtail just shed a green frond from the crown shaft. Looking up there is another is ripping away. The growth spike is in emerging and I don’t see any other problem. We are in zone 10a. Although we were hit hard by Irma this palm did not sustain damage
These palms will be self cleaning. This is a natural process, and not much of a concern. If they all start falling off, then I would look to a soil infection. The tree appears healthy, though.
Self cleaning usually occurs after all the nutrients are depleted from old leaves. Not till they are completely brown do they fall.
That’s why in non self cleaning palms leaves should never be removed till all the nutrients are gone.
These leaves( fronds) are so green and healthy.
Maybe an animal ..?
We recently had a mild freeze in Tampa and our foxtails took a hit. The palm fronds have all turned brown , but the bud is still green and the new fronds from the bud look like they are pretty green. However the trunk seems to be holding a lot of moisture, every morning there’s liquid coming from the halfway up the trunk and it looks like it’s creTing mold? Is there something I can do to save the palm?
This will be a "sit back and wait" game now. The only thing I could recommend is spraying a half and half peroxide/water mix on the areas that look bad. This can help keep an infection away long enough for it to recover.
Can a fox tail palm be topped ? It is getting very tall Thank you
This is not a good idea, and usually results in the death of the palm. Here is an article that will give you more information on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/foxtail-palm/foxtail-palm-tree.htm
We just planted a foxtail Palm we put manure and top soil in before we planted the palm will that kill the palm
When you say manure, do you mean fresh manure or composted manure. If the manure was properly composted, you should be ok. Foxtail Palm like a nitrogen rich fertilizer.
Raw manure or unfertilized may be to hot and burn roots.
