Hi all, My one year old Musella Lasiocarpa, Chinese Dwarf Banana plant has one leaf that keeps getting eaten?. I cant understand why its the only leaf or what might be eating it. Any help would be most helpful. Kind regards
It is very hard to say, without catching the creature in the act. I would suggest using insecticides as a preventative.

Once a particular pseudostem bears a artichoke-like flower, is that shute then dead? Do I cut it out? I love the height they've achieved but don't seem to be growing new leaves? Please Help!
Once flowering is done, that cluster of growth will start to die back. It is best to leave it until it dies off, completely, though. Cutting living growth is not advised, since banana plants are very susceptible to infections.
