Over the last month or so, the leaves and flowers appear to be dying. Could this have been caused by frost? Is there anything I can do?
Daphnes can die suddenly and should be considered a temporary shrub. Also check your plant for insects such as aphids, scale or spider mites.

Hi I have an established Daphne Bohlua 'Jacqueline Postill' that has produced suckers. When is the best time to attempt to detach and grow on the suckers? I would imagine that it's after flowering in late Feb/March??
I've read that it only needs tip pruning but you can cut stems to take inside. It is best to only prune when the shrub is actively growing, otherwise there could be problems.

I have a new Princess Daphne and some of the leaves got burnt on a very hot day. Should I leave them on or cut them off?
Either way will be fine. As long as you are not cutting into living, green growth, then it will pose no harm to cut or leave it.

Was given the bush for Easter, full of white blossom. The Pigeons and black birds ate all the blooms, and still attack the bush. Why? Does anyone else have this problem.
This is a very common issue, unfortunately. This article will help offer some solutions to this problem, though:

My Daphni bush is around 2 1/2 yrs old and looks like it needs trimming. I want to do it properly because it was a gift and I love it.
Daphnes really only need pruning to remove dead or diseased stems. Here is more:

My plants are in pots on a patio that deer can’t get to, so I’m at a loss as to what it could be! The same critter (I’m assuming) has also been eating my Pygmy date palm one frond at a time. And I also have two pots of lettuce that are untouched.
There are a few possibilities, but if that is cut at a roughly 45 degrees then rabbits are usually the culprit. There are other possibilities but this is most likely. This article will help:

My Daphne is outside in the soil and its flowering really well. There were no instructions to put it in ericaceous soil when it arrived. I have noticed that a lot of the leaves have dark brown splodges on the ends of them. I cant see any insect issues and its still flowering well, could this be because its in ordinary garden soil and what can I do to help it? Thanks
Slightly acidic soil is not as important as well-draining soil. You can lightly work some coarse bark into the soil if it is on the clayey side. You can also add compost which will help with drainage.
Is your shrub getting afternoon shade? They prefer a partly sunny situation. Here is more:
