Old and new cyclamen blooms look the same to me. They don't seem to dry out. How can you tell when they have faded?
The easiest way would be to feel them. They will feel dry and papery when they are dead. Here is an article for more information on the care of the plant: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/cyclamen/cyclamen-care.htm
I have cyclamen plants that have fiinished flowering having been in pots outside all winter. They have grown huge corms & roots, are they worth keeping & if so what is the best way to proceed? Mrs J M Davies.
These can be worth saving, as long as it doesn't get cold in your area. They do not like temperatures under 50F. As long as it has remained above this, then the plant can be brought out of dormancy. How much light does a cyclamen need?
Most varieties need bright, but filtered light. They cannot tolerate full sun, but cannot tolerate excessive shade either.

Can I plant my cyclamen in the flower bed after it has for the summer and spring season I live in Texas where it gets hot.
You should be within range in your entire state to plant these in the ground. This collection of articles will give you more information on their care: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/cyclamen/
I have two questions. 1. My cyclamens are in my garden and they are very healthy looking, but they do not bloom. They have been multiplying so they are also all clustered together. 2. At this time of season they also start to sprout from their centers a tall fuzzy white tiny flowery stem. Can you tell me what theses are and what to do? Thank you, Doreen Bushaw
It sounds like you are describing the stems of flowers going to seed.
Peak down into the centers of your Cyclamen and see if you see any flower buds forming.
You could feed the plants with a light fertilizer that is meant for bloom promotion.
Division of plants can be done in late summer.

My cyclamen has yellowing leaves although it has just started to flower. It was a others day present in a pot.
We are sorry for the delay as we are in our busy season.
Yellowing leaves can indicate a watering issue; too much or too little.
Cyclamen also need a cool environment.

I just received a couple of dormant 'Silver Form' Winter Cyclamen and am wondering how to proceed planting them. Unfortunately, they didn't come with planting instructions and I can't seem to find the information on the web. It's now June 12 in NYC and we're coming into mid-70 degree temperatures. Any advice on this matter would be welcome. Thank you.
Yes, a dormant plant will look quite 'dead', no worries. This link will help you.
