My Cycad what appears to be a fungal under the leaves, what do I do about this. Thank You.
There are many different plant oils that can take care of this, including garlic oil, clove oil, rosemary oil, and many others. This collection of articles will give you many examples of ways to correct this issue: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/organic/
My cycad is growing indoors with LOTS of natural light. I water it sparingly with a weak fish emulsion mix. I am worried it has grown too fast or hasn’t had the right fertiliser.
This is always a response to not quite enough light. Try moving this to a little brighter of a location. The growth pattern will return to normal shortly after.

Hi mitchell Smith here, I have a couple of cycad palms in my front garden and they have reach the desireable height that i want for them. is there any eay to stop them growing any taller?
I do not recommend pruning them, as this may destroy the plant. There is, however, a natural growth hormone from the brassica plant family, called brassinolide. This is a non toxic substance that when sprayed can help regulate a plants growth, keeping it from stretching so tall.

Can you recommend a spray? Also, if I cut off the eaten fronds, will they grow again?
You should not cut off any growth. They will self clean when it is finished bringing nutrients back into the main trunk. Cutting off anything from this plant can further exacerbate the problem. The only thing that will protect them here will be heavier insecticides or systemics. Systemic pesticides remain inside the plant. This will protect them for longer periods of time. In time, they can recover, but they will never recover back to before the damage.

We have a certain butterfly that lays eggs on the new cycad leaves and after that the leaves wither away. I have photos of the butterfly and eggs. How can I keep the butterflies away from the new leaves.
If you actually see caterpillars eating the leaves, you can use Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), which you can find in garden centers or big box stores.

Healthy Cycads will produce a few pups, but too many might signify a health issue with the plant. In order to know the best way forward, you must find out if there is an issue with the tree or not.
