Was told it is pineapple plant. It doesn't look like the pictures
This appears to be Crassula capitella that has been very poorly lit. When properly lit they will have a very compact form.
This is an article for a very closely related species, but it has the exact same care. You will follow this for care of yours:

Hello, I was given 'cuttings' of nameless succulents that are growint well on the bathroom windowsill, in free draining pots and get morning sun. Can you please tell me the plant names so that I can look up plantcare etc. Pictures attached (please forgive the dust). The heart-shaped petal/leaf one was fully green, but has become a verigated yellow at the top and also on a new bud/stem(?) at the base - are these flowers or is bad plantcare to blame. Many thanks for your help. Kind regards, Diane.
This is Crassula perforata, String of Buttons.

kebab from kasakstan
We don't make vendor recommendations, but Kebab bush (Crassula rupestris) is offered on many succulent sites. You can peruse those online to look for new varieties.
its a Crassula Perforata Hottentot (i believe) in a hanging plant pot it is being watered every 2 weeks usually (hasn't been watered for 3 now) it gets daily sunlight and fairly warm conditions) but the hanging leaves are starting to turn very dark by the roots (where it is coming out of the soil & i am not sure what to do its my favourite plant so don't want it to die ha ha) thanks in advance :)
You may have some root rot going on. I would repot it in a sanitized container with fresh potting soil for cacti and succulents. Make sure the pot has drainage holes. This one may not. It doesn't really help to put rocks in bottom of container.
I would also cut off a piece or two of healthy foliage and try rooting it in case the repotting doesn't help. Here is more:

Dear sir, good evening. I am staying in Middle East which is quite hot and humid place. I like succulents and bought many times. While trying to propagate the same, I found most of the time the leaves turn into black color either full or part. This happened with Crassula Ovata and in some other plants. Also my Panda plant branch color changed and breaking. I need your advice
It could be too much water or humidity. Follow these instructions when propagating your succulent plants.
Seemed to appear over night. Very small oval black...almost seed shaped. They are flat and when I pulled them out(yes I pulled the all out for fear of bugs) .... it was brittle with nothing inside. Yet they were attached to the leaf and hard to remove. Damaged the leaf when removed. Pic attached.
It could be the shells of scale insects. There still could be hard-to-see juveniles or eggs on board so I would treat the plant for scale. Here is how:
