how do you stop crabapples from producing apples. I heard the buds can be sprayed in the spring to prevent apple growth come fall.
Look into a fruit eliminator spray. There are a number of brands.

There are many species and varieties of hibiscus with different dimensions, such as tropical hibiscus, hardy hibiscus, and rose of sharon. You'll surely be able to find one that fits your site:

Hi I am looking to buy food for my crab apple trees and do not know what to buy. What company ( brand)sells this and what do I need to know to keep them healthy? Thanks Janice
If your crabapple tree is growing slowly, you can apply a nitrogen-based fertilizer to the tree's root system to improve its growth. Perform a test on the soil around your crabapple to determine what nutrients your tree needs. If your soil already has abundant nitrogen, do not add more to the soil. Over fertilizing with nitrogen results in unhealthy growth that can make your tree more susceptible to pests or diseases.
We don't recommend brands. Visit your local garden centers for an appropriate fertilizer for your tree.

I have 2 malus pink glow which flower very well, but produce few fruits, l also have a john downie which produces 4 times as many fruit. All three are about the same size & pot grown. Can you help re lack of fruits on pink glow.
I found little information to determine the amount of yield that a malus Pink Glow produces.
After speaking with a gardener friend of mine that also grows Crab Apples in containers; he suggested a move to a slightly larger growing container with a good quality potting soil mix.
Avoid using a potting soil with fertilizer additives. Supplement the soil with a good organic compost mix; or if you would like, use a water soluble fertilizer. Do not over feed.
He suggested that your yield may be very normal for your Pink Glow, but the comparison to another variety may be tainting your opinion of the yield.
My year old 6 foot crab apple tree is bending over as the top 18 inches of the branches are heavy with leaf. The stem of the tree is only about an inch diameter. Can I tie it back on the fence with soft ties. Thank you.
Yes, this will be fine. You can also give half strength potassium silicate to help sturdy it up a bit.
My crabapple tree was beautiful until today. As of this morning it now has yellow leaves beginning. Please help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
This sounds like it could be Apple scab.
