I planted Jethro Tull coreopsis about a month ago. They are starting to brown and die, starting with the innermost leaves. What am I doing wrong? I have been watering every 3 days using drip irrigation (1 gph for 1 hour).
This looks like a bacterial infection, likely, from a little too much water.
Rather than watering on schedule, make sure to water when the soil dries out down to about 3 inches, thoroughly. I would even say to let them go even longer than that, though. They are a drought tolerant wildflower, and they will not tolerate overwatering. \

I have two coreopsis plants in my front yard. The foliage is lush and healthy and there are many buds. But they turn dark in the center and never open. The other plants in the garden, agastache, gaillardia, fleabane, azalea, coneflower, creeping thyme, and dianthus are all doing very well. What could the trouble be?
Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to assess the damage. It could be that there is a lack of phosphorus or potassium in the soil, though. If the green growth is lush, but the flowering is not what it should be, this would be my first suspect.

n the summer/fall? Coreoposis was planted last fall and I covered with mulch to protect from the cold and the plants grew great and flowered this spring. The plants are over 36\" tall and have very few flowers left to bloom. See my question above.
Yes, this should be deadheaded continuously throughout the summer!

EVERAL HATE TO LOSE THEM OKFI I HAVE BEEN DEADHEADING THEM UT THEY JUST GOT PRETTY TALL AND ARE LAYING ON THE GROUND,
Generally, this can be chalked up to "Too Much Care", unfortunately. Watering just a little too often, feeding too much, or overall caring for these as you would a garden variety will cause them to grow too fast and flop over.
