I planted 72 seeds in a starter tray w/lid and a heating pad. 13 plants grew. Its november and i have been unable to tranfer them to pots. Every time i do the plant dies. I have 7 left. They are still very small. Any advice on how to save them. Thanks for any help you can give me. Cindy
You should try transplanting into a container that is not much larger than the one it is in now. You will have to do this until the roots appear through the new container, and until the proper size is reached. Putting these into a container too big will lead to rotting and the death of the seedling, since there are no roots to take up all of the water through the soil.
This will be a very careful process each time, not to disturb the roots.

Why does my China doll not flower. I have several and all are very bushy and planted outside
Since these are outdoors, then it is likely that you are outside of their growing zone which would keep it from flowering properly. These are suited for tropical climates, and are not suited for the cold. I am unable to look up your zipcode as there is a missing number. Zipcodes are 5 digits long, and there are only 4. I can, however, give you an article which will guide you on proper care: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/china-doll/china-doll-plants-outside.htm
enough? It is growing in our Screen Room where it gets full sun. 20" Pot. Is that large enough??? It is staked w/ a Bamboo pole. It is beautiful. I do not know how to send a picture from my cell phone.
Outdoors a China Doll plant can reach 25 to 30 feet in height.

My china doll tree is between 35 & 40 ft tall and around 30 years old. I have no photos.
These trees do well in subtropic regions and I was not able to find a lifespan average for this tree.
Continue the good care for your specimen!
I would like to learn how to start my China doll from seeds
I tried to find information about how to germinate seeds for this plant, but most of the info
addresses how to grow it from cuttings. I would suggest that if you purchased seeds at a nursery that you contact them for instructions. The only snippet I could find says that they need light for germination and should not be covered.

I inherited the plant from my mom. I'm afraid it will die. I just transplanted it then found out I shouldn't have.
It likes to be potbound, so transplanting can cause it to drop its leaves. If you take care to make sure it's not overwatered and has good drainage, it should snap back. It also may be experiencing transplant shock but should perk up soon. Here are a few articles that should help:

Highly highly appreciate ur time in advance
This happens with any small change. Likely, the conditions in your house are different than the conditions where the plant was before. They are very sensitive. Providing the best care will give it the best chance of acclimating to your home. This article will help:
