The fuzzy caterpillars are about one quarter inch in length. They are cream in color and are eating the life out of the leaves. How do I get rid of them?
You can eradicate caterpillars with Bt, a biological control spray and not a poison. The caterpillar has to ingest the material when feeding on the leaf. The timing is critical as is good coverage. A repeat spray is often needed.
For a quicker knockdown use insecticidal soap, which you can purchase or make your own.

one of my canna lilies are growing a black ball off the stub on the plant. Is this a normal thing?
I'm sorry, but your photo did not come through. I won't be able to identify the issue.
It could be a fungus, insect, seed pod, or many other things, and without seeing it can be very difficult to pin down.

I ordered tropical canna from a nursery book, planted it just like it said. Plant is about 6 inches tall and never bloomed. Is watered twice a week, full sun. So what is the problem with it?
It may take several years to see blooms from a single small plant. They will get to between 3 and 10 feet tall before you will see blooms.

How do I keep the wild javalina pigs from digging up my canna plants?
Fencing is the best option. An electric fence or 2 to 3 foot fence with solid posts should keep javalinas out.

I brought in my lilies in a large pot. Should I continue to water them or should I let them alone, and will they continue to bloom?
Here are articles that should help you decide how to winter-over your canna lily. You can either bring the rhizomes in or you can bring the whole pot in.

I’ve just checked my wintering canna rhizomes and noticed that they are a bit dry – not rotted, just dry – the roots are still attached and there is still some rhizome matter, but they are very dry. Is this normal or do I need to add some moisture to them?
The medium you stored them in should be kept damp but not wet. If the rhizomes are dry, you can mist the medium.
