I received a calla lily 3 weeks ago The flowers are turning brown and drying up. Leaves are looking kinda bent I water once a week and have put it in a larger pot Have you any suggestions for helping it along?
It is normal for flowers to fade or turn color as they age. Remove them at this point as you don't want the plant to put energy into making seeds. You want more flowers! Depending on how much bright sunlight the plant gets, you may need supplemental lighting to keep it blooming. The winter sun doesn't pack much punch in the northern half of US. Water to keep the soil moist, not wet. Wiggle your finger an inch deep into the soil and only water if soil is dry at that depth. Use a balanced fertilizer. In the fall of 2016 I bought about 6 plants that were yet fully blooming. As winter was coming I looked up how to try to keep the bulbs. I was successful in doing so, I planted the bulbs in a large pot, and set them in the sun. I did not get one bloom from any bulb, lots of healthy leaves. This fall I considered dumping them, but heard maybe they only flower every other season. Is that so, or what did I do wrong?
This is, more than likely, an issue of having too much nitrogen in the soil. This will cause the plant to grow very well with leaves, but will prevent flowers from forming. You can add dolomitic lime and fertilizer with only phosphorus and potassium to counteract the high levels of nitrogen in the soil. Inside the bloom there appears to be multiple light green seed pods. Is this right? Can they be saved and planted? If so, how will I know when to plant them? Or am I just whistling in the wind? Where can I order an assortment of colors?
You can propagate from seed, but it is best to wait until they dry in their pod on the stalk. As far as ordering, you will have to check local nurseries, or online gardening centers.

I always cut my Calla Lilly down to the ground each winter when died back. This year the folidge is still florashing and not died shall I leave it or cut it back now? Thanks
Thank you for your help
I haven't watered it since last summer a few of the leaves on the underneath died and I've cut them back but it keeps growing this has never happened before and it's been in the same place about 15yrs every year it dies of I cut it back and I then have a amazing display the following spring/summer
Will it do it any hard of I just cut it all the way back now?
Calla lily need a dormant period before they rebloom. If temperatures aren't likely to get cold enough to induce dormancy, do it by letting the plant dry out completely. Allow the foliage to die back before trimming it off. The last part of the following article explains how to do this: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/calla-lily/make-calla-lily-bloom.htm
How much nitrogen do Calla Lilies need in their potting soil? I transplanted my Calla Lily fearing it had rot. I disinfected the unglazed pot, put in drainage material and fresh rapid gro planting soil. The next day my plant is dropping. Help me save my lily please. Thank you, Lidia
They do not need super rich soil to survive. Too much nitrogen will cause this. It could still be an issue of root rot, though. They need slightly moist soil, and can tolerate a slight dry period, but they prefer moist soil. They will not want wet soil though. This will cause rot. I would add peroxide at 1/3 peroxide to 2/3 water the next time you water to be sure that you kill off anything in the root zone.
They can also suffer if they are in full shade. They like bright, but indirect light, but can handle full sun as long as it is not too hot.

I repotted my calla lily about a week ago. At first there were little drops forming at the end of every petal and leaf. Then the leaves started looking bent/ curling on themselves. They are not yellow or wilting. What did I do wrong, and how to care for it properly?
You will have to include a photo. It sounds like a pH issue, but it could be other things as well. Please include a photo and I will be more than glad to help.

The one tuber I planted about 20 years ago has grown to produce multiple stems that grow to a height of 5 to 8 feet and bloom profusely. We live on the edge of Portland OR and have mildly cold winters. Usually the stems die soon after the first hard freeze and end up to be some partially decomposed leaves in a pile of gray-brown slime that is easily removed at the first signs of new growth. This has been a mild winter and the stems and leaves only died down to about 24 inches tall and are a tangled mess held up by a simple wire frame that gives a little support to the lower canes when the large leaves develop in sprinting. This happened one other time and I cut the canes to a six inch height. The leaves and canes that summer were all missing the outer tip which produced flowers and leaves with no pointed tip just half of the flower missing. I need to know what to do about spring cleanup of the amazing plant.
You are doing the best thing for them. Continue to keep the dead growth away, and even adding wettable sulfur and dolomitic lime to the soil can help. It sounds like they are getting mild infections from wet weather. This remedy should take care of that for you. You can also divide them out if they get too over crowded.
