My lilies are too tall (5 ft and still growing). Can I cut them down? Want to try to keep them at 3 ft or so - if possible.
The height may be due to the variety you have. If your variety is supposed to be shorter, it may be overcrowded or may not be getting enough light, which causes tall, leggy growth. Increasing the amount of light they get would be the best way to decrease their height.

I am living in Punjab in India. Here the climate varies in summer from 42C in day and 30C at night. In winters it is about 25C in day and 5C at night. For a few days there is threat of frost in Jan. when temp. touches 1C. I am trying to grow calla lily for last 5 to 6 years but got only 2 flowers in all these years. I have tried in all seasons, now when winter is about to set I have germination of calla after a rest of about 2 months. I grow in pots, get thick good foliage but no flowers. What can be done? Rajesh
Try the dormant period method described in this article. Hopefully this will encourage them to bloom:

Providing a fertilizer that is high in phosphorus and low in nitrogen can also promote flowers:

When should I plant my Calla Lilies in pots to get them to flower about Mother's Day?
Plant the bulbs about 2" deep in a well draining potting mix. Water lightly until you began to see the leaves growing. Then you can water to keep the soil moist but not soggy.
Depending on the variety, the temperatures and sunlight, you should see blossoms within 60 to 90 days.
I received a Calla Lily for Valentine's Day. The leaves were a beautiful deep green, 2 days later the leaves are yellow. Is this normal?
This is likely a watering issue. Make sure the container is properly draining.
Soil should be moist but never soggy.
Provide a bright sunlit area for your plant.

Which is the correct way up for a calla lily rhizome when planting? Mine seems to be sprouting from underneath rather than the top.
The Calla Lily bulb or rhizome should be planted horizontally with the growing side up-about 4 inches in the soil or ground.
Generally place the rhizomes 12 inches apart.
What is eating large chunks, like bites, out of my calla lily flowers? I see no evidence of slugs or snails on the tall stalks or leaves, just bites out of the flowers. I'm sure it's not deer, and the flowers are too tall for squirrels which we have a lot of, but I'm stumped. The plant looks healthy, no slugs or snails on any of the green parts of the plant, just bites out of the flowers. What could be doing this? thanks so much, anne
Don't underestimate all of the pests that you mention.
If food supplies are low, critters will eat Calla Lillies or other flowers.
Slugs come in the night and leave little evidence.
Chipmunks or Squirrels will pull down the stems of the flowers. Rabbits also have been known to eat the flowers from Calla Lily plant.
Deer may be the least likely, since you may see more evidence of Deer in your garden.
I'm listing some articles that may help with deterring these pest.

My calla lily leaves are puckering and there is a white substance on the leaves. What should I do?
This could be a Thrip infestation or a fungus caused by Thrips. Isolate your plant from others.
Use an application of Neem Oil on the plant. Make sure you treat all parts of the plant, top and bottom of leaves.
Remove any damaged parts of the plant and discard of.
Repeat the treatment every 7 days until the problem is resolved.
