My small boxwood was damaged by a snowblower last winter. It looks like a car backed up and crushed half of it. This is a small plant...only 1 year old now...I'm wondering how to best trim it so it comes back again. If that's even possible. One side is up and rounded but about 1/4 of the shrub is flattened. I have cut off the dead parts already but am wondering how to best trim back the rest so it grows back to something close to 'normal'. Thanks for the help.
You may have to prune to shape throughout the growing season.

I found these white fluffy tiny blobs all over the new growth (only) on my boxwoods today. They were sticky on the finger if i wiped them off. Im thinking white flys but wanted your opinion. I sprayed with the hose and most all fell off. There was a white residue on the ground afterwards. Please advise. Thanks jason

Lot of yellow leaves on my plants this sprlng what do I do about it?
Boxwoods are subject to several diseases. Read the following article that describes the common ones. Since some disease is fungal or viral, cut out the diseased portions and pick up fallen leaves to keep from other boxwoods getting diseased. Clean tools after using them on a diseased plant. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/boxwood/diseases-affecting-boxwoods.htm
It is spring in northwest ohio and my boxwoods and knockout roses have grown unevenly and irregularly on both sides of my front door-is it too late to prune/even them out?
Early spring is best time to prune your Knock Out Roses and Boxwood can be trimmed up at any time.

Yes, I have noticed that my Boxwoods have Blight and that some fungi on them. I have seen the decline of them and I am so worried about them. I have called Tru-Green to come and feed them and tread them for a disease. Do you feel that they can handle such a problem as this on my English Boxwoods? I have sprayed them with water as The American Society said to do for the fungi and got all of that off and watered them well. Is there anything else that you could recommend for me to do asap awhile it is spring?? Sincerely, Lorena Cremeans
I would not recommend spraying water, as this is likely the cause of the infection spreading in the first place. It would be best to use, either, a copper fungicide, or wettable sulfur. These will get rid of the infection.
