    I did not find any information on whether Toads are harmed or chased off by the ultrasonic sound.

    How cool that you have chosen to hatch Praying Mantis nymphs!
    Keep watching your egg cases: there "should" and may still be more. This article from Iowa State University mentions that some eggs will not hatch at all. Be sure your glass jar is in the correct temperature for the best chance of all your eggs hatching.

    Many worms will excrete "coelomic fluid" when they feel threatened, or when they are stressed by being too dry. The fluid can be yellow or white in different species. It is normal, although could be a sign that the worms are stressed.

    They are wonderful to watch and here is a link to a website with a bunch of information on them. http://www.theprayingmantis.org/ We had two egg sacks in our gardens this year and have seen many of them around the gardens this season as well.
