10 Pride of Mobile Azaleas planted March 2nd, are doing OK but beginning to show a dull whitish finish on the leaves and some insect invasion?
This is Lace Bug damage.

I have some Azalea Bushes about 30inches high and the same spread which are too close together. Is it possible to lift and transplant one or more? If so when should this be done?
The best time to transplant your Azaleas is early spring or early fall. This minimizes the stress to the plants.
My Azalea bush was in full flower then suddenly within 3 days it dropped most of the flowers and looks like its dying although there is still a few pieces that look healthy, my shrub is about two years old. It was in a plant pot, but have now planted it in the border it was in full sun and regularly watered, it was moved after it lost its flowers to a more shadier position. Is there anything I can do to save it I love it. Many thanks .

Is this a symptom of low acid or nitrogen levels

Azaleas bloomed and looked great for a short while. How long do the blooms usually last? They appeared healthy with no pests or diseases. But our sprinkler system was turned on late and maybe they did not get enough water. One day, half of the blooms on one bush started to turn brown then it seems two days later all the blooms on all three bushes are dead and brown - but they still have some green leaves! What do I do with them now? They look terrible with all the brown blooms on them. If I dead head them (pluck all the dead blooms out or snap them off???) will they then bloom again this season? Or should I prune them in some other way to get them to bloom again soon? Are the bushes "done" for this season?
Azaleas have a shallow root system, so watering is important, especially during hot spells.
Pruning should take place after blooming, and generally before July, when the plants began to set buds for next spring.

Hi I have an azalea on which one section has started to die back (Brown branches / leaves fell off etc). The rest of the leaves have small white spits. Based on a few articles I read this seems like maybe some combination of ladybugs, and boring insects or fungus. Not sure. I've attached photos. What should I do to save this Azalea? It is beautiful when healthy and was expensive! Thanks Sean
