HELP! What is happening with my Apple, Apricot and Pear trunks and bark? What treatment do they need? See photos... Also what is best to feed them and when? Thank You, Conrad
It's difficult to determine the issue, though it appears your trees are shedding bark and have some fungus on the trunks.
You should examine the entire tree; leaves, branches, fruit to help identify the issue. Do you see evidence of pests?

I have read about the product kaolin clay to spray apple trees for apple maggot and coddling moths. where do I buy this and what brand name is it sold under. also is there any other products that I could use for this prevention natural or otherwise. when would I spray these products I live in western Washington State
I would, actually, recommend either dormant oil, or neem oil for this application. You should spray in the dormant seasons, when there are no leaves on the trees. This article will give you more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/fegen/dormant-oil-information.htm
Hello Can you tell me the best ballerina fruit trees to buy, I would like to plant 2 or 3 in pots in my small garden. thanks Mary Walsh
I would check with local growers and greenhouses in your area.
They are known to do well in most gardeners but varieties can be difficult to obtain.
Can this be cured? Have sprayed with fairy liquid solution.
Apple canker is a disease caused by a fungus, Neonectria ditissima, which attacks the bark of apples and some other trees, causing a sunken area of dead bark and, eventually, death of the branch. New cankers form from mid-spring, and once formed are present all year.
Canker is said to be more serious on wet, heavy and/or acid soils, so pay attention to drainage and raise the soil pH by administering lime if needed.
Completely cut out all affected smaller branches and spurs. With the larger branches, try to cut out all infected material. All such pruning should remove all brown, infected bark and wood, cutting back to fresh green tissues. Paint immediately with a protective wound paint
There is no chemical control for Apple Canker.
My apple tree has several cotton wool like webs which are sticky and about the size of a clenched fist. Inside the web are dead brown leaves. Other leaves on the tree seem to be shriveling up. What is it, and what can I do?

As the leaf gets more “covered” it starts to curl up - as in the final photo. They don’t appear to be moving, so we didn’t think they are aphids - but have no clue!!! Thank you for any help you can provide.
This appears to be a heavy Aphid infestation.
Neem Oil is a good treatment.
Follow packaging directions for application. I would recommend treating every 3 days for 2 weeks.
