Sweetbay Magnolia Trees

I have several Sweetbay Magnolia Trees that are dropping red leaves for the last 2-3 weeks. Is this normal for this time of year.

It is common for older leaves to drop and can often show a yellow, orange or red color as they age an drop.
You can take a leaf sample to your County Extension Service to see if they suspect anything else.
