Q.Sweet potato vine ornamental

Zone Cambridge Ontario | Murr added on May 21, 2017 | Answered

I’ve been saving my sweet potato vine tubars from last year (in dark cool place during the Ontario winters).
I planted them and they are coming up with a totally different leaf…long and skinny….still lime green.
Does anyone know why the leaves have changed?

These are likely just the newer leaves and as they mature they will change shape.
