Q.sweet potato vine

Anonymous added on September 19, 2015 | Answered

Do spv cuttings need leaves to produce roots at nodes? I have one long vine with tip leaves only. Would like to cut into sections.

You need to cut below the node keeping the node intact.
Remove the leaves near the node by gently pinching them off.
Place in jar of water making sure the node is submerged in the water.
Keep in a bright location but away from direct sunlight.
Roots should form in 4 to 6 weeks.
