It is common for the bottom leaves to yellow on all peas. The main problem, though, is that peas don’t like hot weather. They may do better with some afternoon shade. More info here: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/sweet-pea/care-of-sweet-peas.htm [1]
