The Indian Sweet Lime Tree cannot withstand freezing temperatures.
They should be grown in zones 9-10.
You can grow the tree in a pot so that it can be moved to protect it from frost.
A container tree will require daily water and when temperatures are hot and dry it may need multiple waterings a day.
Here is more information for you.
