Q.Sweet Bell Peppers

Anonymous added on July 5, 2012 | Answered

The peppers on the plant are getting brown spots on the pepper. What is the cause of this, and is it due to too much water?

If the spots are on the top or sides of the fruit, then it is likely sunscald and is from too much direct sunlight. A simple shade will help stop it. If they are on the bottom of the fruit, then it is blossom end rot. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/pepper-blossom-end-rot.htm
