Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHelp. My geranium has been in the house all winter and did very well indeed; however, only a few blossoms over the winter. Now in the spring/summer it has large fungal shapes that grow up out of the soil. Some have grown to 4-5″ high in one day. I keep taking them out of the soil but still numerous little ones exist deeper down in the soil with just a little bit exposed on the surface. Should I assume the soil is too acidic, if so, how do I remedy that or should I repot and start over? I used organic potting soil and a clay pot. Thanks

I would replace the soil in the geranium pot.
Discard the old soil.
Geranium remove as much soil as possible and repot in a new pot or clean the old pot with a diluted bleach water solution.
This may be a good time to trim up the geranium as some become quite leggy while wintering over.
