Sunflower Moth Larvae

I have been scouring the net looking for an answer on how to get rid of these moth larvae. I have a single dwarf sunflower that I am growing in a container inside my home. I have no idea how they even got there since my apartment is virtually bug-free. I cannot find anything on how to get rid of them! I have found countless articles about what a pest they are and how damaging they can be, and after everything I have seen, I know this is what they are.

I would really appreciate some help – I have never really had a green thumb and when I grew this baby from a seed I was SO proud and happy that it was flourishing so well. The larvae hid inside the flower head and just yesterday more than half of its petals were withering. I am devastated and would love to know a homemade remedy for this, if possible. I live right in the middle of a big city and the nearest gardening store is really far.

I would try neem oil, which is safe and effective for most insects pests. Most garden centers, including Lowes and Walmart, carry the product. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm [1]
