Q.string of pearls succulent

Zone Philadelphia, PA | dand1719 added on May 30, 2017 | Answered

I’m new to succulents and need some advice! My recently purchased string of pearls plant was knocked over all the strands of pearls throughout are connected to their own little roots – as opposed to the plant being bound together by one cluster of roots. I never imagined it looked like this underneath! I tried to replant, which was beyond tedious of a task let me tell you, but just can’t seem to get the roots to stay covered properly to encourage growth into their new soil and pot. I’ll cover one piece, then add another but in the process accidentally disturb the soil and uproot what was covered moments before!

I may need a 2nd set of hands to help me out, but are there any tips or tricks for replanting the dozen or so bits of the plant and their roots?
