Q.String of Pearls Plant

Zone 21634 | Anonymous added on September 9, 2018 | Answered

Have 4 pots of Strings of Pearls that I had at work. Brought them home and 2 of the pots have some Pearls that are soft and white looking…Plants still look very good but was wondering why this has happen. Have pulled off all the white soft pearls…These plants get only morning light and are on a flower rack under a Crape Myrtle tree. Is this happening maybe because of too much rain or watering…Just don’t want these plants to die…I have rooted all of them and they are Beautiful. Please let me know what you think I should do…Thanks Jacquelyn

I recommend only watering these plants every 2 to 3 weeks. they are very drought tolerant. Also, they tend to like high amounts of light, so make sure they get plenty. Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/cacti-succulents/string-of-pearls/string-of-pearls-plant.htm
