Q.Strawberry Begonias

Anonymous added on October 11, 2011 | Answered

My indoor strawberry begonia leaves get black spots. Then the leaves turn yellow and dry up. I remove the leaves as soon as the spots appear but it doesn’t solve the problem. What is it? What do I do?

It sounds like it has a fungus. This is caused by poor air circulation and high humidity. With this plant, I would recommend increasing air flow to help the problem. You can either move it somewhere with more air movement or place a fan near it. It will also help to treat it with some fungicide.
