Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comIn the fall, should I trim back my strawberries (remove foliage)? I have heard mixed thoughts on this subject. Some people say don’t do anything and they will be fine, and others say to trim them just above the heart and place straw over them durring the winter. I leave my small crop within your hands on this. Thanks:)

Your strawberries can be cut back in late autumn. Here is an article on winterizing them that may also help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/strawberry/winterizing-potted-strawberries.htm [1]
