Q.Strawberries

Anonymous added on March 1, 2014 | Answered

I was wondering if and when is the best time to move strawberry plants? I am a beginner at gardening and I just bought a couple plants of strawberries last year and planted them in my smaller flower bed. So this year they have spread to a three feet area, taking over most of my small flower bed. I was wondering is it a good idea to dig them up and replant them elsewhere or just move them in the same bed in a different location? I just didn’t want to harm them. Thank you!

You may want to consider moving them to a bed of their own, and spring is an ideal time for this.
