Q.strawberries

Zone Nephi, UT | Anonymous added on June 16, 2017 | Answered

We have a June bearing strawberry and an ever bearing strawberry raised bed. This is the beginning of the third season for these plants. The plants themselves look healthy however about 50% of the strawberries are not forming correctly. They are an odd acorn shape and all of the seeds are on the bottom tip of the berry. Any help would be appreciated.

There are 4 likely causes; Tarnished plant bug, frost injury, Boron deficiency, and poor pollination.
