Q.Strange Growth On Indoor Ficus Tree Branches

They appear to be insect galls, although I do not recognize the particular gall pattern. Insects will burrow and lay eggs, which creates what you see, here.

Remove them, and treat with an insecticide. It will pose no real harm to the tree.
