Q.Stinkhorns

Zone Atlanta GA 30306 | Anonymous added on August 21, 2018 | Answered

I may have inadvertently found something that oddly kills stink horns . I had a piece of bamboo, a stick that is used as a tree support. I stuck it in the ground so my husband could see the stink horn so we could dig it up. The next day, it was dead?!
Another stinkhorn emerges a couple weeks later. Again I stuck the dried bamboo stick into the base of the stinkhorn. Next morning it appeared to be dying. Is there possibly something to this?
Would be curious if someone else could experiment

You could talk with your County Extension Office.
